Data Deletion Instructions – Elder Dialler

Elder Dialler does not require user accounts and does not store personal data on external servers.

All app data is stored locally on your device.

How to delete your data

You can delete all data used by Elder Dialler at any time by following these steps:

Option 1: Uninstall the app

  1. Open your device’s Settings
  2. Go to Apps → Elder Dialler
  3. Select Uninstall

This removes all locally stored app data and settings.

Option 2: Clear app data

  1. Open your device’s Settings
  2. Go to Apps → Elder Dialler → Storage
  3. Select Clear data

Option 3: Revoke permissions
You may also remove access to specific data by revoking permissions:

  • Removing Contacts permission stops access to contact information
  • Removing Call permission stops the ability of Elder Dialler to make and receive calls

What data is deleted

When you uninstall Elder Dialler, all of the app’s settings, history, and saved preferences are completely removed from your phone.

Your contacts, call history, and messages are stored by the phone itself are not affected.

  • Elder Dialler does not store personal data on servers
  • Elder Dialler does not retain data after app removal
  • No data is kept by Elder Dialler after deletion

What Data is not removed when you uninstall the app or clear app data ?

Data that stays on the phone is system-level or user-owned data, not controlled by the app:

1. Phone contacts

  • Contacts remain in the device Contacts provider
  • Elder Dialler only reads contacts — it does not own or store them

2. System call log

  • The Android system call history remains intact
  • Calls made through Elder Dialler will all appear in the phone’s call log
  • Removing the app does not delete system call records

3. Play Store billing records

  • Subscription or purchase records remain associated with the user’s Google account
  • Reinstalling the app may restore entitlement via Play Store (depending on configuration)

What about re-installs?

If you uninstall Elder dialler and then re-install it later:

👉 The app starts as a fresh install

  • No previous preferences
  • No speed dials
  • No SOS configuration
  • No internal call records

Unless cloud backup is explicitly added (which Elder Dialler does not use).

Retention period

There is no retention period. All locally stored data is deleted immediately when the app is uninstalled or app data is cleared.
