the Elder Dialler mobile application, and

1. About Elder Dialler
Elder Dialler is designed to assist older people and their families by providing a simplified, safety‑focused phone dialling experience. Privacy and data minimisation are core design principles of the app.
To provide the functionality that it does Elder Dialler requires access to certain phone features. Contact access is used only to display names, numbers, and photos for speed dial. Phone and call permissions allow Elder Dialler to place, receive, and manage calls directly from the app. All of this information is used only on your device, is not recorded or shared, and is never used for tracking or advertising.
Elder Dialler respects your privacy. Personal information stays on your device and is used only to make the app work.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to:
visitors to the Elder Dialler website;
users of the Elder Dialler mobile application; and
any personal information we collect in the course of providing our services.

When you visit the Elder Apps website, we may collect limited information such as:

The website does not require account creation and does not collect sensitive personal information.
4.2 Information collected through the application
Elder Dialler is designed to operate using data stored locally on your device. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
speed dial preferences;
language and display settings;
accessibility preferences;
lock‑screen or screen‑pinning preferences.
This information is stored on your device and is not uploaded to Elder Dialler servers.
4.3 Contacts information
If you enable speed dial or contact images, the app may read your device’s contacts list to display:
contact names;
phone numbers; and
contact photos (if available).
Contacts information is read only for app functionality and contact details remain on your device. it is not transmitted, uploaded, or shared by Elder Dialler. Any updates to the Contacts are managed by the separate Contacts Manager application on your phone.
4.4 In‑app purchases
If you purchase Advanced Features through the Google Play Store:
all payment and billing information is handled directly by Google;
Elder Dialler does not collect or store your payment details;
we receive only confirmation that a purchase has been completed.
5. Information We Do Not Collect
As we have no access to your device, and Elder Dialler does not:
collect precise location data;
record or monitor phone calls;
track who you call or how often;
collect advertising identifiers;
sell or rent any personal information; or
use personal information for targeted advertising.
6. How We Use Personal Information (APP 6)
We use personal information only for purposes directly related to the operation of Elder Dialler, including:
providing app functionality;
applying user‑selected settings;
restoring purchased features on the same device;
responding to enquiries submitted through the website.
We do not use personal information for unrelated purposes without consent.
7. Disclosure of Personal Information (APP 6)
We do not disclose personal information to third parties except where:
required or authorised by law; or
necessary for app distribution or purchases through Google Play, in which case Google handles information in accordance with its own privacy policies.
8. Data Storage and Security (APP 11)
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, and loss. In particular:
all information is stored locally on the user’s device;
no central user database is maintained by Elder Dialler application or by the Elder Apps website;
no login or account registration is required to use the app.
Users are encouraged to secure their devices with a PIN, password, or biometric lock.

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below.
In many cases, you can manage or remove information directly by:

uninstalling the application.
10. Overseas Disclosure (APP 8)
Elder Dialler does not intentionally disclose personal information overseas.
Some information may be processed by Google Play services as part of app distribution or purchases. Google’s handling of information is governed by its own privacy policies.
11. Children’s Privacy
Elder Dialler is intended for adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
