First calls with the configured phone

Become familiar with incoming, outgoing, missed and SOS calls before regular use.

Use consenting contacts while learning the app. Never call an emergency-service number while becoming familiar with Elder Dialler.

Use the main calling paths

  1. Make an outgoing speed-dial call. Use a consenting contact and make sure the person, confirmation screen, active call and END CALL controls are clear.
  2. Receive a known incoming call. Use ANSWER or DECLINE from the large incoming-call screen.
  3. View a missed call. Let a consenting contact call without answering, then open call history.
  4. Use each enabled calling option. Include loudspeaker, Dial Pad or Touch Tone only when enabled.
  5. Become familiar with Safe Call Mode using saved and known unsaved numbers.
  6. Use the manual SOS flow only with consenting non-emergency contacts while learning the feature. Use CONFIRM, CALL NEXT and STOP as shown by the app.
  7. Apply Pin Screen last. Use CALLS, confirm speed-dial reassignment is unavailable while pinned, and learn the approved exit route.
