Configure SOS contacts

Choose whether to display SOS and set the ordered calling sequence.

Safety boundary: SOS makes ordinary telephone calls to selected contacts. It does not guarantee a connection, answer or emergency response. Never use an emergency-service number while learning the feature.

Choose and use the manual SOS sequence

  1. Ask each intended contact for consent. Explain their place in the calling order and when the phone user may call.
  2. Choose or skip SOS contacts in Guided Setup. Put trusted people in the order they should be tried.
  3. Enable the SOS button only if it suits the phone user.
  4. Review the first-call confirmation and manual continuation. The user can choose CALL NEXT or STOP after a call.
  5. Conduct a planned dry run. Use consenting contacts, stop the sequence and confirm the user understands the long press.

AutoSOS is not covered here: The current 45-second option conflicts with execution code and must not be documented until the app resolves it.
