Everyday use
These instructions are for the simplified pinned experience after Pin Screen has been enabled and accepted in Android.
Tap a configured speed-dial button, confirm the call if Ask before dialling is enabled, then use the large in-call controls.
Make a callIncoming calls show large answer and decline controls so the phone user can respond without leaving the app.
Receive callsUse the CALLS button to review missed, received, dialled and blocked or rejected calls shown by Elder Dialler.
Call historyCall the configured SOS contacts in order. AutoSOS can continue the sequence automatically only when Advanced is enabled.
Use SOSLong press a call-history entry to block or unblock a number. Contacts assigned to speed dial or SOS cannot be blocked from this flow.
Configure blockingAdd new contacts from missed calls in the call history.
Add contactsPin Screen is designed to reduce accidental exits, so configuration-style changes are deliberately narrower. Speed-dial reassignment is blocked on the pinned main screen, and blocking is not allowed for contacts already assigned to a speed-dial button or marked as an SOS/emergency contact.
For larger changes, unpin the app using the Android action for that phone, make the change in Normal Mode or Preferences, then pin Elder Dialler again when ready.
