These instructions are for the simplified pinned experience after Pin Screen has been enabled and accepted in Android.

Long press a call-history entry to block or unblock a number. Contacts assigned to speed dial or SOS cannot be blocked from this flow.

Add contactsWhat is limited while pinned
Pin Screen is designed to reduce accidental exits, so configuration-style changes are deliberately narrower. Speed-dial reassignment is blocked on the pinned main screen, and blocking is not allowed for contacts already assigned to a speed-dial button or marked as an SOS/emergency contact.
For larger changes, unpin the app using the Android action for that phone, make the change in Normal Mode or Preferences, then pin Elder Dialler again when ready.
